ZooRun5K Note:
The 5K is for both runners and walkers. However, it is expected that any participant in the 5K should be able to accomplish the necessary 3.1 miles in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. (23 to 25-minute pace per mile). The race starts at 7:30 a.m.
ZooRun5K participants should arrive at Zoo Miami by 7:00 AM. The 5k will begin promptly at 7:30 AM. In order to maintain the safety of our runners and the integrity of the racecourse, ZooRun5K participants who arrive at the start line after 8:15 a.m. will not be allowed to participate in the 5k. At the completion of the race, participants will receive complimentary admission to Zoo Miami for the day by presenting their race bib.
