Christopher Terrell Barr 

Christopher Terrell Barr was born and raised in the Bronx. This Rap Artist has a lot to put on  and bring to the table. He first stepped on the scene in the Summer of ’95 on the independent  label, Zestland Records. Songs – “Cannot Escape” and “Multiple Stab Wounds”, which  received major underground play Nation-Wide on stations such as: WPBX, WIUS,  WBCR,WQHT, 88-Hip Hop, WXCI, WRAS and also charted CMJ. 

What really put him on the map, was his conceptual style of Rap and unforgettable lyric lese  imagery, which help forge and create the Legend of “BIG FOOT”. While touring to cities like  Philadelphia with “Cellar Dwellers, Rampage, The Last Boy Scout, and the Phat Cat Click” – Philly’s own, he caught the attention of some major Rap Artists across the country and became  the opening for such Artists as: Sadat-X, Bootcamp, and X-Zibit. Out in Oakland, Sunz of  Man, Genius, GZA, in Spring Valley for Junior Mafia, and out in Orlando, Florida the  infamous BIGGIE SMALLS. 

During the last 5 years in the underground he has since created a name and following himself  and is on his way. Still striving for a throne of his own. He started his own label “SWAMP CITY RECORDS”, which merged with “LUMBERJACK RECORDS”. Certainly, all you  underground heads have collected Military Kombat, featuring Shabaam Sahdeeq, (now signed  to Rawkus Records). Bring it, Invasion, Mid-Evil, Legacy of Rage, Foots World, BX Confidential, and Altered States. They all have heavy street promotion and independent  distributors such as: BUDS, Landspeed, Fat Beats and Dance Floor. Thanks to them they made  sure that everybody from D.J.’s to all the Moms & Pops store have a BIG-FOOT record. 

With all these accomplishments it has landed him a major record deal with “Tommy Boy  Records, NYC. In 1998, with the release of “Heavy Metal” artist who featured and produced by  cover for Lexxus Entertainment. B/W three-minutes to detonate produced by El-Black-O of  El-Black-O production. That started him performing at the local and underground clubs from  NYC to Los Angeles, California. That charted heavy rotation at all the underground and college  radio stations. 

Also Foot featured on the Soundtrack, “Black Mask”, starring Jet Li. His first U.S. appearance  with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon Part 4. He is currently working on the  album titled “Five Borough Nightmare”.
