October 2026 pay-per-view livestream will reunite alumni and gather memories for a documentary

MIAMI, FL — [Release date] — Corky’s Kids will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Coconut Grove Playhouse Children’s Theater with a live, pay-per-view event in October 2026. Alumni, families, and supporters can watch from anywhere for $50 per view.

Founded and led by Cornelia “Corky” Dozier, the Coconut Grove Playhouse Children’s Theater opened the stage and television production to young performers. The anniversary program will revisit productions including The Me Nobody Knows and Sneakers, share alumni memories, and welcome special celebrity guests.

“Corky’s Kids was built on the belief that young people deserve a voice and a place to develop their talents,” said Dozier. “This livestream lets our theater family celebrate together, wherever they live.”

Alumni and supporters are invited to submit photographs, programs, recordings, and video tributes for a planned documentary. Anniversary tributes range from $100 to $500.
